Bechem United head coach, Kasim Ocansey Mingle has expressed his disgust over officiating officials following his side’s 2-1 loss to Karela United in the matchday 23 of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League.
The Hunters after going down early in the game grabbed the equalizer through Charles Mensah, but were reduced to ten men after Moro Salifu was given his marching orders.
Karela took advantage of the sending off to get the eventual winner late in the second half ending their five games winless run.
Speaking to the media after the game, Mingle described the officials who handled the game as not up to the standard of the Ghana Premier League.
“The officiating is very very bad, the officials are inexperience.
“The officials are not up to standard to handle premier league matches, it’s only few who are up to the task.
“Most of them don’t know what they are doing on the field of play.
The coach also accused referees as the reason behind the lack of success in the Ghana Premier League.
“They are destroying the beauty of the second round, the success of the league largely depend on them. But look at what they are doing.” He bemoaned.
Bechem United will be looking to return to winning ways when they welcome Hearts of Oak on Wednesday at the Fosu Gyeabour Park.
