Professionally-run Division Two side Cheetah FC have secured a groundbreaking water sponsorship deal with beverage manufacturing giants Bel Aqua.
The deal which will be for a period of 1 year, subject to renewal, will see the Kasoa-based club getting twelve thousand bottles of Bel Aqua products for the one year period.
The deal will also see them receiving 20 boxes of Bel Aqua Active, an energy drink also produced by the beverage company.
Sealing the deal at the Bel Aqua Depot in Accra on Wednesday, President of Cheetah FC, Abdul Haye Yartey was grateful to the beverage company for the deal.
He also acknowledged their effort in partnering the Cheetah FC brand to help develop Ghana football, encouraging them to extend their assistance to other football clubs.
“We are much grateful to Bel Aqua for this deal. We have a responsibility of helping the development of the youth as we have already provided hundreds with a future.
“And we are much grateful to Bel Aqua for coming on board to help the agenda to develop much more talent and to provide a future for the youth,” he said.
“We however, wish to encourage Bel Aqua to extend their support to other clubs and not Cheetah FC alone as football is capital intensive and many clubs need a lot of support to continue supporting their Ghanaian youth,” he added.
The deal is one of several deals by the infant club that is setting a pace for many other clubs on the local scene.
Cheetah FC is noted for the high level of professionalism, producing several top talents including Christian Atsu, Alhassan Wakaso, Mudasiru Salifu, Emmanuel Toku and many others.
This is impressive.
