Young French Coach, Romain Folz has arrived in Ghana ahead of a possible takeover at Obuasi Giants, Ashgold.

The Miners parted ways with Serbian Milovan Cirkovic and have been in search of a substantive coach for some time now.

Folz arrived in Ghana yesternight and is no stranger to the Ghana Premier League after a short spell with Bechem Chelsea last year. The Young manager is expected to sign a two-year deal with Ashgold should both parties reach a favorable agreement.

The Miners endured a torrid first half of the season which saw them end the first 10th placed on the league log with just 22 points.

Ashgold will begin the second round of the GPL against Karela United a game that ended in a stalemate in the first round.
