Spanish Segunda Division B side CD Badajoz have completed the acquisition of Ghana U20 striker Sumaila Abanga.

Abanga joins the Spanish side on a season loan deal following a successful negotiations with his club Benab FC.

The attacker was part of the Ghana U20 side that won the 2020 WAFU Zone B Championship in Togo.

He featured and impressed in Ghana’s game against Ivory Coast.

The player despite receiving offers from several Ghana Premier League club’s decided to join the Spanish side to aide his development.
