Black Starlets head coach Ben Forkuo says his team has increased the intensity of their training ahead of the second game against Morroco on Thursday.
The Ghana U17 side lost to their Moroccan counterparts in the first of a two-legged friendly exercise amid cold whether in the North African Country.
In an exclusive interview with FootballMadeInGhana.com, Ben Forkuo outlined his side’s readiness for the second game.
He also explained why the team needed to increase their intensity ahead of the game on Thursday.
“We lost our first game and the performance wasn’t bad as we saw. We all know after playing the first game, you still have some lapses certain things doesn’t go well.
“We had to do some corrections of first game before we our next game. What you saw is correcting our lapses before we go for the second game.
“The weather was also intense for us so we had to do more work. The session was intense for them to know the intensity of the game last time. Tommorow it’s going to be the same, so we needed to increase the intensity of the training a little bit to cope with tomorrow’s match and see how the game will go.”
The Black Starlets will face their Moroccan counterpart at 3pm GMT on Thursday and will be streamed live via the Ghana Football Association’s Official Facebook page.
