Head coach of Techiman Eleven Wonders Ignatius Osei Fosu says his side’s were unlucky in their defeat to Accra Hearts of Oak.
Wonders lost 2-0 to the Phobians on Sunday night in matchday nine of the Ghana Premier League game at the Accra Sports Stadium.
A goal in each halves from Manaf Umar and Victor Aidoo sealed a comfortable win for the Phobians.
Speaking to the media after the game, the coach bemoaned his side’s inability to convert their chances as the reason for their defeat.
“It’s a game the home team took the two chances they got and we did not take our chances. It’s part of the game. We knew how they will play and we allow them to play. They passed the ball around the midfield; not too many chances they created but if you miss your chances it comes back to haunt you.”
The stylish coach also hailed the performance of his Boys despite the defeat.
“They were fantastic and everybody in the stadium saw the way they played. I think we were just unlucky with the two goals. By the way, it is part of the game. We will work on it.” He said
Eleven Wonders will host King Faisal on Sunday in matchday ten of the Ghana Premier League.
