King Faisal were held to a disappointing 1-1 draw against Elmina Sharks in matchday nine of the Ghana Premier League.
Toufic Razak second half strike cancelled out James Bissue opener as the two side’s shared the spoil at the Ohene Ameyaw Park.
It was King Faisal who started the game very but Micheal Amoh’s shot was stopped by Bawa Martey.
Kwame Peprah came close five minutes later but his shots went wide.
King Faisal had more of the ball but couldn’t utilitilze their chances.
Elmina sharks were awarded a penalty on the 39th minute after Pius Baffour brought Alhaji Mustapha in the penalty box.
James Bissue stepped up and covert it nicely for the home team.
Kwame Boateng had a great opportunity chance in the added time but blasted his shots wide.
King Faisal returned from the break with all guns ablaze as they look for the equalizer.
Kwame Peprah had good chance to level matters for the home team but his shot went wide.
The home team pressure paid off after Wadudu Yakubu was brought down in front of the penalty box, Toufic Razak stepped and convert the free kick at the back of the net.
King Faisal huffed and puffed but couldn’t get the winner as the visitors defended their lead till the blast of the whistle.
