Players of Asante Kotoko have decided against training ahead of the crucial CAF Champions League clash with Al Hilal Omdurman, because of unpaid bonuses, FMIG can report.
Asante Kotoko have currently pitched camp in Sudan ahead of their all important clash with the Sudanese giants on Wednesday January 6.
Hilal lead the tie 1-0 following their first leg win in Accra 2 weeks ago.
The Porcupine Warriors are eager to redeem themselves in the tie and possibly secure qualification to the group stage.
However their chances have been dimmed further following this latest act of rebelliousness by the players.
The players according to FMIG sources refuse to train until their unpaid per diems are honored.
The club is owed per diems following their previous engagement with Mauritania side FC Nouadhibou.
There are other entitlements yet to be paid the players and they have seized this moment albeit inappropriate to claim all what is due them.
