Ghanaian midfielder, Majeed Ashimeru, has confirmed talks are ongoing to secure him a loan deal to with Belgian top side, RC Anderlecht from his current side Red Bull Salzburg.
Ashimeru, 23 has struggled for much game time this season. He has made just 13 appearances for Salzburg this season playing 588 minutes of a possible 1260.
The midfielder has been grown worried about his lack of much playing time and is keen on moving to a club that guarantees that.
The former WAFA player has revealed in an interview with Citi TV that his agent is working on such and is in talks with Anderlecht.
“Yes, my agent is working on it, but the deal has not been completed yet. In the next few days, we will know what the next move is. Right now I am with my family so hopefully soon, I will know if I am going or not”.
Ashimeru has a contract that runs until 2024 with Red Bull Salzburg. Any loan deal secured during this transfer window is likely to be for 6 months.
