AshantiGold SC opponent in the CAF Confederation Cup, FC Salitas have arrived in Ghana with one of their players testing positive for the coronavirus.
The Burkinabe side FC Salitas arrived in Ghana on Friday evening ahead of their first leg CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round encounter against AshantiGold Sporting Club.
According to Happy FM Sports, one player of FC Salitas has tested positive for the coronavirus after checks conducted at the Kotoko International Airport.
The player has since been sent to Ga East Hospital for treatment.
The game is scheduled for Sunday 29 November, 2020 at the Obuasi Len Clay Sports Stadium.
The 15 man contingent are expected to depart from the capital to Obuasi later today and the second batch also expected to arrive in the country on Saturday.
