Head Coach Ghana’s female U-20 side Yusif Basigi has promised an improved performance from his side, when they take on Morocco next Monday.
The Black Princesses lost by a lone goal to their Moroccan counterparts in a friendly game played at the Accra sports stadium on Thursday.
This was after Ghana had bossed play and created several chances, but the team’s profligacy upfront cost them a better result.
Speaking in the aftermath of the encounter, Yusif Basigi has told Kumasi based Silver 98.3 FM, that his side fared well despite the defeat.
“For me I think we didn’t play badly at all. The girls did well to me. I don’t want to apportion blame to anybody,” he mentioned.
Thursday’s game was the first of two arranged games between Ghana and Morocco.
The second fixture takes place on Monday November 30 at the same venue and Coach Basigi has promised an improved performance from his team.
“I will say that we will see better game come Monday. Trust me,” he emphasized.
