Thomas Partey delivered a midfield masterclass for Arsenal in their Premier League victory away to Manchester United on Sunday.
Aubameyang’s 69th minute penalty was enough to give the Gunners their first win at Old Trafford since 2006.
Partey was the puppet master in the middle of park alongside Mohammed Elneny who executed Mikel Arteta’s plan perfectly.
The Ghanaian international kept United‘s midfield trio of Paul Pogba, Bruno Fernández and Fred in his shadow all game.
He had the most touches (79), won the most duels (10), made the most ball recoveries (11), completed the Most take-ons (3) and made the 2nd-most tackles (4) in a display worthy of the man of the match award.
Partey’s performances for the North London outfit this season hasn’t gone unnoticed, the former Atletico Madrid Star is already drawing flattering comparisons with Arsenal great Patrick Vieira.
