Ghana coach C.K Akonnor has recalled Jiangsu Suning midfielder Mubarak Wakaso for next month’s 2022 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Sudan.
The 30 year old who was one of the notable absentees from the squad that played Mali, Qatar in two separate friendly games last month makes a return to the team for the double-header against the North Africans.
Ghana will face the Falcons of Jediane at the Cape Coast stadium on November 12 before travelling to Khartoum, five days later for the reverse fixture.
Wakaso has been a key cog for the national team since his debut in 2012.
