Inter Allies FC is a professional football club based in Tema, Greater Accra and plays in Ghana’s top flight.
The club was founded in October 1996 by Omar Nasser El-Eter, Rabeh Nasser El-Eter and the late Robert Tetteh, a former player for SS74 team of the seventies, Accra Great Olympics and Ghana Black Stars.
The club was started in the third division league and by the year 2000, had qualified to play in the second division league.
The club won the second division league title on three occasions.
After several attempts in the past, Inter Allies succesfully sealed qualification to Ghana’s top flight in 2013. That was in June 2013 after they defeated Danbort FC in the promotional playoffs.
With their focus on nurturing top talents and making them available for both the local and foreign market, it is best to say, the Inter Allies project has been a huge success.
In 2005, the club produced three players for Ghana’s squad at the CAF U-17 African Cup of Nations in Gambia namely Jonathan Quartey, Emmanuel Banahene and Solomon Addy.
In 2007, Inter produced another three players for the Black Starlets squad that played in the 2007 CAF U-17 Tournament in Togo namely David Addy, Moses Otiboe and Nathaniel Asamoah.
Some other notable former players are Emmanuel Banahene, Samuel Ayew Yeboah, Isaac Amponsah, Nathaniel Asamoah, Daniel Coffie and Simon Martey.
Clifford Aboagye, Aminu Abdallah, Fatau Mohammed and Victorien Adebayor who until recently was tormenting Ghana Premier League defenders are all products of the famous Inter Allies football factory.
