Medeama SC have rejected reports that their gaffer Samuel Boadu is inches away from joining fellow Miners Ashantigold.
According to reports, the Miners have officially written to the Tarkwa based club asking for the availability of their head coach.
The Obuasi based club is desperate to hire the highly-rated gaffer after Italian trainer Roberto Landi went away without notice.
Despite confirming they have received a letter from the Miners, Communication Director for Medeama, Patrick Akoto has insisted Samuel Boadu is going nowhere.
“We have no interest in letting him go. He is very much happy here and wants to lead the Medeama project this season and beyond,” he said.
“He has a contract. He is a top professional and so we have no issues at all. He will continue to remain with us for many more years.
“Nothing dramatic has changed and we have no intention of letting him go.”
“Boadu is touted as one of the finest technical brains in Ghana following his outstanding exploits with the Mauve and Yellows.”
Ashantigold will be participating in this year’s CAF Confederations Cup which is scheduled to come off in November.
