Ghana deputy skipper Thomas Partey made his dream debut for Arsenal on Saturday as they slipped to Manchester City by 1-0.
The Ghanaian did not have to wait for long to make his dream debut for the Gunners as he was brought on to play Pep Guardiolar’s side at the Ettihad Stadium.
Partey was introduced into the game with 7 minutes to end proceedings after Rahim Sterling had given Pep Guardiolar’s side the lead in the first half.
The hardworking midfielder did not only make his debut but also attracted his first yellow card in an Arsenal shirt.
The former Atletico Madrid star joined the Gunners less than a week ago after playing for Ghana against Mali and Qatar in international friendlies in Turkey.
The former Tema Youth midfielder joined the Gunners on a frantic transfer deadline day after the Gunners opted to trigger the £45million release clause in his Atletico Madrid contract.
Partey is expected to be handed more playing time as he aims at establishing himself in the Arsenal squad.
