Former Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Joe Carr has lashed out at unhappy Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Felix Annan after report that the latter is not happy at the club.
Annan, who was the undisputed No.1 for the Porcupine Warriors has been displaced by Black Meteors shot-stopper Kwame Baah after he asked for permission to wed his girlfriend.
He has since lost his position at the club at club and also at the National team.
The club on Tuesday announced the signing of former Azam FC goalkeeper Razak Abalora who according to report has included a clause in his contract to start games.
His signing according to reports has unsettle Felix Annan and could forced him to leave the club.
But in an interview with Akoma FM, Joe Carr advised Felix to remain calm and work hard in order to win his position back in the team.
“If you decide to go and marry at the time when your club has a crucial match and another goalkeeper takes advantage of the situation, you must live by your decision.”
“He must train hard and recapture his position instead of complaining. I will not choose marriage over my career because a woman can leave you when things are very bad so for me it is career first, other things second.
“He could have postponed the wedding and focused on the match first. After all its the engagement or the traditional marriage that matters not the wedding.” He added
