Asante Kotoko have made an improved offer for Medeama SC midfielder Justice Blay, FMIG can report.
Blay enjoyed a highly succesful one year loan stint with the Porcupine Warriors where he become a fan favorite.
The player has returned to his parent club after the expiry of his deal although Kotoko are keen to bring him back; this time permanently.
Maxwell Konadu’s side developed cold feet towards the deal after being scared away by Medeama’s US$150,000 demands.
The Porcupine Warriors reportedly offered around GH₵ 150,000 which Medeama deemed as derisory.
Per the latest reports, Asante Kotoko have returned with an improved bid of GH₵ 200,000 although it remains to be seen if Medeama SC will consider it.
The Tarkwa based outfit have always insisted that Blay will only be allowed to leave if his valuation is met.
His contract with Medeama SC expires in 2022.
