Jacob Partey, Father of Arsenal poster boy Thomas Partey is positive his son will help the Gunners to secure a ticket back into the UEFA Champions League at the end of the season.

The Gunners have failed to qualify for the UEFA Champions League for the past two seasons making people tag Partey’s move as backwards.

Partey took a tough decision to quit his long marriage with Spanish outfit Athletico Madrid to join the English side Arsenal FC.

The hard to crack midfielder joined the Gunners on a 45 million pounds transfer fee, inking a four-year deal after a successful negotiations.

In an exclusive interview with Untoldstories TV GH, Jacob Partey stated that, he son will aid Arsenal back to Champions League football soon.

“When he called me to inform us that he is going to Arsenal, we were all happy for him”

“I heard people saying he is moving from a Champions League team to a team that cannot qualify to play in Europe’s elite club competition.

“But trust me, knowing my son, he will work so hard to help the team back into the champions league “he concluded.

He is set to make his debut for Arsenal this weekend against Chelsea.
