All is set for the commencement of the 2020-21 Ghana Premier league season after the Ghana Football Association released the list of fixtures for the campaign.
The new season will mark the return of football since March 2020, after the Coronavirus pandemic caused the postponement eventual cancellation of all football activities.
The new season will kick off massively looking at the fixture scheduling.
The season commences on the weekend of Friday November 13-Monday, November 16 with Aduana Stars facing Hearts of Oak at the Dormaa Park. The exact date for this mouthwatering fixture is yet to be finally determined.
Match-Day 2 will see Berekum Chelsea welcome Asante Kotoko while there is a duel between two former champions; Hearts of Oak and AshantiGold SC.
Match-Day 3 will also see the witnessing of Asante Kotoko hosting Great Olympics while AshantiGold engage regional rivals King Faisal.
Ghanaian football fans will have to look up to MatchWeek 14 ( Fri 12 – Mon 15, Feb 2021) to witness Ghana’s biggest club football fixture; when Hearts of oak host Asante Kotoko at the Accra Sports stadium.
