Former Asante Kotoko Goalkeeper, Joseph Carr believes ambitious Chief Executive Officer of the club, Nana Yaw Amponsah will take the club to places should the club hierarchy allow him to work freely.
The former President of Ghana’s Division One League side Phar Rangers took over the Chief Executive Officer position of Asante Kotoko after the new board of the club dissolved the George Amoako led management.
Speaking in an interview with Fox FM Joseph Carr disclosed that, the past management of the club failed to deliver because they were not fully supported by the Kotoko fraternity.
“If Nana Yaw Amponsah is allowed to work freely, Kotoko will benefit a lot”.
According to him, he was excited upon the appointment of Nana Yaw Amponsah and his management team.
“The Kotoko fraternity should stand behind the management of Asante Kotoko for them to be able to achieve their set target”.
The club is currently preparing ahead of their upcoming CAF inter-Club competition coming up in this year.
