Ghanaian striker Michael Sarpong scored his first goal on his debut for Tanzanian club Young Africans as they beat Burundi outfit Aigle Noir on Sunday to celebrate Wiki Ya Mwananchi ‘Citizens Week’.
Young Africans beat the Burundian side Aigle Noir FC 2-0 at the packed Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam to cap off preparation ahead of the start of the new season.
Michael Sarpong who joined the club two weeks ago scored his side’s second of the day after Rosien Tuisila Kisinda had given the hosts the lead.
