Swiss Super League side FC Zurich are on the verge of signing Ghanaian attacker Asumah Abubakar-Ankra in the ongoing summer transfer window.

Abubakar 23 could join the 12-time Swiss Champions ahead of the coming season  following his impressive performance for SC Kriens in the Swiss challenge league.

He was along the outstanding players in the just ended Challenge league  scoring fifteen times in 37 matches in all competitions in the just ended season.

According to a source close to the player, talks have started between the two clubs for the transfer of the player and agreement could be reach in the coming days.

The former Corners Babies player joined SC Kriens on a free transfer after ending his stint with Dutch club MVV Maastricht.

He has also featured for Dutch eredivese side Willem II Tilburg.
