The Head Coach of Inter Allies, Tony Lokko says his side is not ready to play should football resume imminently.

Coach Lokko says most of his players are worried and equally scared of happenings as regards the CoronaVirus pandemic which bad shattered the world and brought almost every human activity to a standstill.

In Ghana, the case count has exceeded 30,000 positive cases with 150 deaths recorded. The Ghana FA has halted all football activities since March but have tentatively agreed to resume the game in October.

As stakeholders mull the likelihood of this happening as planned while the GFA lobbies government to lift the ban, Tony Lokko says his players whom he has been engaging are not ready for a comeback.

He told BBC Africa, “We are not ready for our football to come back.

“I have been communicating with my players and they are also scared, Look at the situation we are all scared of the virus.

“The health materials we are supposed to put in place are not ready and that is the fear of everyone at the moment.”

“We do not have the necessary facilities to observe the medical precautions that have been laid for regular testing of players and technical teams”, Tony Lokko concluded.
