The only female Board Member of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Evelyn Nsiah Asare has donated some Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to residents of Ayanfuri, a mining town in the Central region to help mitigate the spread of the Coronavirus.
The Covid-19 pandemic has hit hard at countries globally with Ghana not an exception.
There have been over 20,000 recorded positive cases with the government leading a crusade to educate and well equip citizens on how to stay safe during this period.
In a bid to support government’s relentless efforts to help curtail the spread of the virus, Evelyn Nsiah Asare who also doubles as the CEO of Hasaacas Ladies a women’s premier league side has donated the PPE’s to the residents of Ayanfuri.
Among the items donated include sanitizers, nose masks and others.
Madam Nsiah Asare took to social media to share the good news with her followers.
She posted on her Twitter Page, A Day out to Ayanfuri, It was one of the “Giving back to the community” moments where governmental protocols against Covid-19 was a major emphasis.
