Premier League side Ashanti Gold Sporting Club (SC) are set to get a gargantuan $350,000 from their new kit manufacturers iGimel if they able to reach the finals of next season’s CAF Confederations Cup competition
Ashantigold who signed an agreement with the UK based kit manufacturing firm as their new kit manufacturers will also benefit financially if they are able to reach the final of the CAF inter-clubs competition.
According to the Chief Executive Officer for the club Emmanuel Frimpong, their new kit sponsors have promised to give them $350,000 if they get to the finals of the African competition.
“Our new kit partners, iGimel Sportswear, have promised to give us $150,000 if we reach the semi-final of the CAF Confederation Cup”, the young football administrator said.
He added, “We’ll earn additional $200,000 from iGimel Sportswear if we’re able to make it the finals”.
Ashgold SC is eyeing a successful campaign in the CAF Confederations Cup next season following their first round exit in the competition last year.
