Asante Kotoko’s new board are set to name a 3 man committee to initiate the process of appointing a new Chief Executive Officer for the club, sources have told Football Made In Ghana.
The Ghana Premier League outfit is without a CEO after deciding to collapse the entire management structure of the club last week.
In a bid to select a replacement for former CEO George Amoako, the Kwame Kyei-led board will set up a committee to assess likely candidates and make the right appointment.
Our sources reveal that, the committee is likely to be made up of persons from top institutions like GIMPA who will be tasked to select the ideal candidate for the Kotoko top job.
A communication on this is expected to be made later today after a board meeting this afternoon.
Names like George Afriyie, former GFA vice-president, Emmanuel Dasoberi, a member of the Ghana FA’s Club licensing board, Fred Acheampong, former CEO of AshantiGold SC and executive council member have been mentioned as front-runners for the role.
