Ghana FA Referees Manager Alex Kotey has revealed that but for the Covid-19, the FA had plans to organize seminars to educate the media on the amendment of the rules of the game for 2021.
The Referees Manager recently sent the rules of the game to all 18 Premier League clubs, Division One clubs and the Women’s League club to keep them abreast of the recent changes in the rules.
According to Alex kotey, they aim is to bring the new rules and amendment closer to the stakeholders of the game so that everyone will be informed about the regulations.
“It was our plan to hold seminars for the media to educate them on the the rules of the game for 2021.” He told footballmadeinghana.com
“It’s still in the pipeline and when all is done we will take a look at that.”
The veteran referee also confirmed similar exercise will be organized to the clubs and their administrators.
“We would make a proposal to the GFA and with the clubs to see how best to organise a meeting with them and educate them on the rules of the game .
“It could be the playing body plus administrators in a forum to see how best we can educate them.”
