CEO of Eleven Wonders Albert Commey has lamented the financial impact in the aftermath of the Ghana Premier League suspension due to Corona Virus outbreak.
His latest comments comes in the wake of Government’s decision to further extend the ban on all sporting activities until at least 31st July,2020.
When asked how his outfit will survive for another month without football, the astute football administrator responded;
“Unless God! Our last meeting was focused on how we can raise money to pay salaries. In fact our club owner is a businessman and has been deeply affected by the pandemic so things are very difficult for us at the moment just as all the other clubs” he told Happy FM.
The 2029/20 campaign has been on hold since March due to the pandemic.
With no clear pathway for the league in sight, some clubs are calling for the complete cancellation of the 2019/20 season.
