Accra Hearts of Oak board member, Dr Nyaho Tamakloe has reignited rumors about Ghanaian football icon, Sulley Muntari joining the club by stating “anytime he is ready to play, he knows what to do”.
The Ghanaian media space was inundated with rumors that the Ghana Premier League side was close to sealing a deal for the ex-Inter Milan star last week only for the club to officially pour cold water on the deal.
Sulley Muntari joining Hearts has dominated sports radio programs and social media threads with most connoisseurs of the game suggesting the ex-Black Stars midfielder’s signing will not just enhance the club’s brand but also that of the Ghana Premier League.
According to Nyaho Tamakloe Hearts have always shown keen interest in the player and is always welcome if he wants to join the club.
“For the past two years, Hearts of Oak have been telling Sulley Ali Muntari that we’ve reserved a jersey for him. Anytime he’s ready to play, he knows what to do,” he told Angel FM‘s Saddick Adams in an interview.
Sulley Muntari after having an illustrious career in Europe is now unattached and has been training on his own for sometime now.
