Premier League Great Olympics have sacked eight players from the club due to unsatisfactory performances in the Ghana Premier League.
A report went rife in the local media on Tuesday which suggested the club have parted ways with four players.
But a source close to footballmadeinghana.com says the club has released eight players instead of the four reported earlier.
The players include Emmanuel Clottey, Ernest Sowah, Godfred Saka, Aminu Mohammed, Moro Iddrissu, Issac Gyamfi, Ashitey Ollenu, Ayuba Nelson.
Olympics recruited the services of these players to help their cause in the Ghana Premier League season.
But the club has been far from convincing in the Ghana Premier League which has led the club to part ways the players.
They are expected to make some new signings to augment the squad ahead of the return of the Ghana Premier League.
