Red Bull Salzburg midfielder Majeed Ashimeru has donated to Nima-441 community where he grew up amid the Coronavirus outbreak in Ghana.
The 22 year old distributed bags of rice, cooking oil and hand sanitizers to residents to help them cope in this lockdown period.
The 14-day partial lockdown was announced by President Nana Akufo-Addo last week Friday under the Imposition of Restrictions Act 1012 of 2020. It came into effect on Monday.
“I feel my little contribution can make a difference in my community. I know how it feels to be in a lockdown situation. I pray this Coronavirus issue is properly dealt with so we can continue our normal lives,” Ashimeru told GHANASoccernet.com
