Aduana Stars midfielder, Elvis Opoku has confirmed his readiness to play for Ghana Premier League side Legon Cities.
The Royals have been pursuing the player ever since the second transfer window opened and from indications, it looks like they have formally sounded out Aduana Stars about making a move for the player.
Opoku says although he has a contract with the Ogya Lads, he’s willing to join the premier league money boys if granted permission by his current employers.
He however reveals a deal to the nation’s capital can only be sealed if Legon Cities agrees to his terms.
The 26 year old was speaking in an interview with local radio station, OTEC FM.
“I still have a contract with Aduana Stars but I have no problem if they are ready to release me to any club. I’ve been told by Aduana Stars management for a possible move to Legon Cities and am ready to join them if they agree to my terms”.
“Am doing my background checks if the team is good for me or not because as a player you need to do some checks before moving to a team” Opoku added.
