Ghana winger Nana Opoku Ampomah has made a donation to the Narh-Bita Hospital in Tema to help in the fight against Corona Virus.
Ampomah who plays for German top flight side Fortuna Düsseldorf made presentation to the facility which is located at his place of birth; Tema Community 4.
The donation is to help equip the facility with the needful items in the fight against Covid-19 which has been termed a global pandemic by the World Health Organization.
Among the items donated comprised 5 big drums of Veronica Buckets, 500 pieces of hand gloves, 3 boxes of exotic prescribed hand sanitizers and 10 packs of Bel Aquah mineral water.
The list is made complete by the inclusion of 20 bottles of liquid soap, 5 bundles of tissue paper while the footballer also made a cash donation with the amount undisclosed.
The novel corona virus has brought the world to a standstill with over 600,000 positive cases recorded with a little over 33,000 deaths confirmed.
Ghana has recorded 141 cases so far with 5 deaths confirmed while 2 people have recovered successfully.
Ampomah’s donation follows a host of Ghanaian footballers like Asamoah Gyan, Joseph Attamah Larweh, Samuel Owusu among others who have all aided the campaign against Covid-19.
