Ghanaian forward David Accam made history with Nashville SC as the club made their maiden appearance in America’s top flight soccer league.
Nashville SC became an MLS Franchise this season and honored their first ever MLS game against Atlanta United FC.
Accam played for 66 minutes as Nashville lost 1-2 at home.
Atalanta took the lead in the 9th minute with a goal from Ezequiel Barco.
Nashville restored parity with a goal from Walker Zimmerman in the 29th minute.
Atlanta scored one more goal and the eventual match winner as Emerson Hyndman powered a ball into the back of the net.
Another Ghanaian player Abu Danladi came on in the 80th minute for Atlanta United FC.
