Assistant coach of Dreams FC Winfred Dormon has drawn positives from his side’s painful defeat to Aduana Stars in the match day 12 of the Ghana Premier League.
The Still Believe lads suffered their third home defeat following Isaac Kwain’s deflected free kick in the second half which happened to be the only goal of the game as Aduana Stars went home with the maximum points.
Speaking to the media after the game, Dormon stated he is pleased with the performance of his side despite the defeat.
“The positive about this game is that , we have showed that we can play. We control the intensity of the game. From the defense, midfield to attack. But we didn’t have the killer instinct and conviction to kill our our chances.
“And in football if you don’t kill your chance the chances will come back and kill you. Aduana Stars created just one chance and they scored. It even deflected one of our players in the wall.
“We created decent chances but it’s unfortunate we couldn’t get the equaliser. We will keep working hard and prepare for the rest of our games.”
The defeat means Dreams FC are currently lying 13th on the league table with 14 points.
