Ghanaian defender Nicholas Opoku is set to complete his transfer from Udinese to French side Amiens on Tuesday FootballMadeinGhana can reveal.
According to L’Équipe, Opoku will be loaned to Amiens for a duration of 6 months with the option to buy.
As part of the contractual terms, Nicholas Opoku is expected to help keep Amiens in the Ligue 1; a development that will trigger the club exercising their purchase option of the player for 4.5 million euros.
Opoku has been on the periphery this season as he’s been limited to the bench mostly. A move for him now is best for his career development and struggling Amiens will very much need services in their quest to beat the drop.
