National Women’s League Committee chairperson Madam Hillary Boateng is determined not to repeat her mistakes in her bid to ensure a very successful 2019-2020 season.
She urged all the clubs to punch above their weight to ensure a very competitive and attractive campaign.
The National Women’s League kicks off on the weekend of 17-19 January 2020 across the country.
“Mistakes that have been made in the past will be corrected as we take steady steps forwards to make the Women’s league attractive. As we prepare for the big kick off, I will like to urge all the clubs to put their houses in order so that they reap the benefits of their hard-work in May when the league ends. Although the trophy will be annexed by only one club, we expect a very competitive and enjoyable season” she said in an interview with Asempa FM.
Hilary also assured the clubs that Committee is working around the clock and hand in hand with the Ghana FA to secure sponsorship for the 2020 season.
She added that the Committee is deliberating on strategies geared towards improving all female club competitions.
