The newly constituted Division League Board is expected to meet for the first time on Wednesday January 8, 2020.

The meeting will allow for deliberations on the upcoming season where the necessary initiatives will be activated to ensure a successful campaign.

Likely areas those deliberations will center on include issues of security and safety  at match venues, attempts to clamp down on hooliganism, officiating, general competitiveness of the league and others.

The meeting will also serve as a platform to formally introduce the various members on the division one league board to the clubs.

The GFA last month made public the list of members to sit on the Division One league board.

Akwasi Agyemang, a Media Consult will serve as Chairman while the CEO of Dalex Finance, Mr. Kenneth Thompson serves as the Vice.

The other members are Mr. Justice Boison, David Obeng, Eugene Nobel, Jones Alhassan Abu, Gideon Ofosu and Sheik Tophic Seinu.
