Medeama SC are set to cross swords with lower-division side Samartex FC in a preseason friendly on Sunday.

The Mauve and Yellow will travel to Samreboi to battle the second-tier side.

The Ghana Premier League outfit are using the match to asses their level ahead of the upcoming season.

The two-time FA Cup holders will be hoping to mount a serious title challenge in the 2019/20 campaign which kicks off on the weekend of December 27-29.
