Business Mogul, Ibrahim Mahama has completed the takeover of Ghana Premier League side Techiman Eleven Wonders, according to local media reports.
The conditions of the purchase are yet to be made public but Mr Mahama is rumored to have coughed up a whooping $40,000 to get the deal over the line.
GhanaCrusader reports that the surprise takeover – was finalised on Wednesday afternoon after months of secret talks with club chairman Nana Ameyaw Manu and Seedorf Soccerlink Academy and Agency who recently signed a partnership agreement with the Ghana Premier League side.
The report also stated that the team will be moved from the Nana Ameyaw park to Tamale where they will be using the Tamale Sports Stadium for their home matches.
The Wonder Club were promoted to the top flight of Ghanaian soccer for the first time in 2017 after finishing in first place in Zone 1 of the Division One League.
