GFA President Kurt Okraku has finally met with Dancehall artiste, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr. popularly known as Shatta Wale.
The two reportedly met on Wednesday to discuss the development football and the role music can be used as a tool to ignite passion in the game.
The ‘Kill em with Prayers’ hitmaker is arguably the biggest brand in term of music in the country and the newly elected FA boss is hoping to capitalize on his huge following.
The marriage between football and music is expected to catapult the game to the next level.
This will fall in line with Ghana FA’s strategy aimed at drawing fans into the various match venues for all League matches.
“It’s a dawn of a new beginning for Ghana football! I had a great time with the newly elected GFA President, Kurt E.S Okraku, discussing how to empower the youth and move Ghana football to the next level!” Shatta Wale posted on Instagram.
It can be recalled that, Kurt who is known to be a die hard fan of the multiple award winning artiste jamed to some of his songs during the period of election.
