Asante Kotoko fans have refused to throw their weight of support behind their CEO George Amoako in his quest to win a slot on the Executive Council of the Ghana FA.
Some of them took to Twitter to register their displeasure over the recent happenings at the club which they laid on the doorsteps of the former PLB vice chairman.
While others blamed him for the dented public image of the club, a good number also mocked his incompetence after overseeing the appointment of coach Kjetil Zachariassen who allegedly used a fake certificate to get the job.

What kind of experience? An experienced man who makes common/basic mistakes like hiring a coach with unqualified cert🤷🏿♂️ Kotoko and @ghanafaofficial needs better people not him

someone who brought a coach whose certificate doesn't qualify him to sit on a CAF competition group stage bench, wants to become an exco member 🤭

The contest for a slot on the Executive Council, hitherto the Executive Committee, will be given a stiff race following the reduction of the composition from 23 to 12 members.
The GFA Executive Council elections are set to be held on October 24.
