Ghanaian trainer Sellas Tetteh has opened up about his time as the head coach of the Sierra Leone nation team.

Tetteh took charge of the Leone Stars for a second spell last month after a temporary appointment in 2014.

The 62-year-old, who won the 2009 U20 World Cup with Ghana, got the job after beating other shortlisted competitors including Goran Stevanovic, Peter Butler, Tahseen Jabbary and Keister.

“well fortunately for me this is my second time, so I already know the system. I know the challenges and difficulties involved. I have a situation where I know most of the technical team and besides that I was technical instructor so I knew all the coaches and most of the players were with me during my first spell so I’ve adjusted and things are going very well” he said.
