The pressure on Black Stars B coach Maxwell Konadu has intensified following their first leg defeat at home against Burkina Faso which leaves the team on the brinks of elimination.
Ghana have failed to qualify for the last two edition of the CHAN tournament and are on the verge of missing out for the third consecutive time after losing at home in the first leg.
Despite criticisms from all corners, Maxwell Konadu has insisted his future doesn’t depend on the second leg and claim he can still leave the job even if the team goes through in the second leg
“We can go ahead win in Burkina qualify and still I may resign , my decision is not dependent upon the outcome of the return encounter” He told the media after the game.
Ghana will be looking to defend the WAFU tournament starting on 28th September in Senegal before facing Burkina Faso in the second leg of the CHAN qualifier on Quagadougo.
