Ashantigold SC are set to engage in a warm up game with second Division two side Asokwa Deportivo as they prepare to face Moroccan’s giant RS Berkane in the first around of the CAF Confederation Cup.

The miners locked horns with RS Berkane on last Saturday and won with a marginal 3-2 win.

This leaves the return leg very difficult as they set to play away from home against the runners up of the CAF Champions League.

Both Ashantigold SC and Asokwa Deportivo have met twice in friendlies in 2018 with the miners winning all the two counters by 3:2 (Goals from Salia Ouattara, Richard Djodi and Roland Amouzou) and 3:1 (Goals from Daniel Gozar, Richard Djodi and Amos Addai)
This will be the first time the teams will be meeting this year.

The team after the match, will be given a break on Sunday and resume training on Monday, 23rd September, 2019.
