Ashantigold SC resumed training this morning at the Ofori Stadium ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup return leg against R.S Berkane.

The game is scheduled to take place on Saturday, 28th September 2019 (21:00 Moroccan time, 20:00 GMT), at “Stade Municipal de Berkane”.

The Miners need a draw or avoid defeat to progress after their 3-2 win in the first leg at Obuasi.

Today’s session was predominantly focused on physical training.

Coach Ricardo Da Rocha resumed preparations with seventeen (17) players including Eric Donkor, Frank Boateng, Kwadwo Amoako, Amos Nkrumah, Marco Silva, Emmanuel Osei Baffour and Musah Mohamed who were all used in last Saturday’s game.

Mark Agyekum, who missed last Saturday’s game as a result of health complications joined the group today.

Shafiu Mumuni, Appiah Maccarthy, James Akaminko and Latif Anabila missed today’s session due to their stint with the Black Stars B team.

Richard Osei Agyemang, Amos Addai, Yussif Mubarik, Steven Owusu, Atta Kusi, and Akwasi Nti were excused from today’s session.

The team will continue Training tomorrow morning (8:00AM) at the Ofori Stadium.
