Black Stars B skipper Daniel Darkwah has apologized for his team’s abysmal output in the CHAN qualifier against Burkina Faso on Sunday.
Darkwah pointed out that he and his teammates performed poorly in the 2-1 defeat to the Stallions and it was a disgrace.
”First of all I will apologize to all Ghanaians for disappointing them.We tried our best but our best was not enough. So on behalf of my teammates all will like to apologize for this disgrace,” Darkwah said after the game.
”All though we tried our best to qualify to the championship, unfortunately we lost the game and it brought a great mess in the entire team.”
Ghana needed a win or a low scoring draw to book their ticket to next year’s CHAN Tournament in Kenya but went down twice in the first half before Richmond Lamptey pulled one back in the second half.
