Black stars forward Jordan Ayew continued his fine form for Crystal Palace in the new premier league season as his goal secured a hard fought victory over newly promoted side Aston Villa.
The former Swansea City foward scored in the 72nd minute to earn Crystal Palace their second successive victories in the premier league.
Jordan has now scored back to back goals in the premier league after his goal last week against Manchester United and has also equalled his two goal tally for the club last season.
Ghanaian compatriot Jeffrey Schlupp lasted 84 minutes on the pitch before been replaced by English winger Andros Townsend for Palace.
Jordan Ayew also went off with four minutes to play for Belgian forward Christian Benteke.
Palace have now moved up to fourth place on the log with seven points after match day four in the premier league.
