Ashantigold head coach Ricardo da Rocha has insisted the absence of Appiah McCarthy and Amos Nkrumah will not affect his team ahead of their clash with Akonangui FC of Guinea.
Both players played a massive role in the team’s journey to winning the tier two competition.
But Ricardo Da Rocha insists the team is united than ever and the absence of the two players will not affect his team output as they are a lot of players who are ready to replace them.
“With the missing of our two players, I don’t think it is going to affect us that much, because we have unity in our squad and everyone player plays for the other” he told footballmadeinghana.com.
The Aboakese boys will be looking to get at least a draw in Equatorial Guinea on Saturday before the return leg in Ghana.
